My New Year's resolution was to read a book a week.
Book #24: Mission of Gravity (1954), by Hal Clement, finished 8/2. The story of a spaceman and a bunch of biggish centipedes trying to find a downed rocket on a pancake-shaped planet. What it lacked in plot and character development, it made up for in crazy ideas, most of which were more scientifically plausible than giant talking centpides.
