Book #30: Treasure Island (1883) by Robert Louis Stevenson, finished 9/10. Once it got going, the story was exciting enough that I was hardly bothered by the archaic spellings & turns of phrase, except for the weirdest contraction I've ever come across: "fo'c'sle," which it turns out means "forecastle," which it turns out means "the forward part of the ship, usually containing the crew's quarters." Who knew? Not me, obviously.
