My New Year's resolution was to read a book a week.Book #34: A Day No Pigs Would Die (1972) by Robert Newton Peck, finished 9/19. I think I read this when I was a kid, but I'm not sure. It's been long enough that it was all new to me, at any rate. Predictably sad at the end, but no less enjoyable for that.
