My New Year's resolution was to read a book a week.Book #43: We (1921) by Yevgeny Zamyatin, finished 11/26. Basically I guess this was the predecessor to Brave New World and 1984. It's the diary of a guy who's living in this One State sometime in the future where eventually the government decides that the only way to make everyone happy is to surgically remove their imaginations.
