My New Year's resolution was to read a book a week.Book #46: Ethan Frome (1911) by Edith Wharton, finished 12/03. Even bleaker than the cover makes it look. My friend Dan has often wondered aloud, "what could be worse than being a torso in a coma?" Well, I'll tell you what could be worse, Dan: being Ethan Frome, that's what. Sheesh.
