Steak & Potatoes with French Onion soup. Catherine got a sweet soup cookbook while she was out Xmas shopping for somebody else. The soup recipe called for gruyere, which I'm convinced is just about the best cheese there is, and vegetable broth instead of beef broth, which gave it an unexpected orange-y color but tasted really good.Steak & Potatoes with French Onion soup.
