It's 2008 & I'm still reading...Book #1: Night Train (1997) by Martin Amis, finished 01/03. Amis' police procedural about a female detective named Mike who investigates the suicide of some young hot chick. I was on vacation when I read this, and so I hereby proclaim it good vacation reading. Man, I wish I was still on vacation.
