What we ate in & around February

A delicious Japanese-style spread: Miso-crusted halibut & eggplant, miso soup, pickled cucumbers and sake. Hai!

Pork chops with mustard & sage sauce, bacon-parmesan mashed potatoes, and asparagus. These were the first truly AWESOME pork chops of the year.

Thai-style stir-fry. Our first foray into the delicious world of Thai Eggplants. They're delicious and add a nice, nutty flavor to whatever they're hanging out with in the dish. That little red pepper there, though...that was a lot hotter than was expected.

Polenta with meat sauce and greek salad.

Chorizo breakfast burritos. Chorizo is a little much first thing in the morning.

Our signature bacon & chorizo chili. This is where chorizo belongs.
