The Dying Animal (2001) by Philip Roth, finished January 13th.I accidentally saw the movie version of this, Elegy, after I bought the book but before I read it. Not a bad movie, but a better book of course. This makes (unintentionally, & not in order) 2 out of 3 of Roth's books about David Kepesh, so I'll probably read The Professor of Desire pretty soon.
