The Shipping News (1993) by E. Annie Proulx, finished March 6th.I liked this book more in the beginning than I did towards the end. It's partly my fault for taking such a long time to read it and partly the book's fault for not being better. It wasn't bad, and I don't regret reading it, but I felt a bit underwhelmed by the second half.
