Glitz (1985) by Elmore Leonard

I was so bummed by Portnoy's Complaint's failure to be awesome that I figured I'd read something guaranteed to meet my expectations. Mission accomplished. Although I caught a little flak from Catherine for the undeniably silly 80's-ness of the cover, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
