When I decided to start blogging about shows I thought I would try to abide by the "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" rule. The people who frequent the Urban Lounge are a healthy test of my commitment to that rule.Despite a crowd that could have / should have been more appreciative / respectful, Bill Callahan & his band put on a beautiful show. The set list was heavy on material from Supper and Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle, including a rendition of "Too Many Birds" that was everything I had hoped it would be.
