Dinner May 19th

Fettuccine with Spiced Butter. Catherine's idea, from a recipe on 101cookbooks.com. The butter was spiced with cinnamon, saffron, ginger, paprika, & cayenne, and a whole bunch of shredded shallots were sautéed in it. Asparagus, pine nuts, parsley and mint leaves rounded out the dish, which had so much flavor going on, I wanted to keep eating even after I was stuffed.
